Copying Programs from 1 HD to Another

If I copy the programs in my "Programs Files" folder from my old machine to the "Programs Files" folder on my new machine, will the programs work or would I be wasting my time? I've never tried this before so I don't know what to expect.

I dont thik this will work because you would have to register all the dll's and make new entries in the registry :knock: :dead: :bounce:

You have to re-install programs on the new PC.
