I know that this is childsplay for most, but i just can't seem to get these 'avi' 's to play, DivX isn't helpin either

it says that it requires a vids:mp43 decompressor... but i downloaded it from lime wire, and i am under the impression that Lime wire doesn't compress their final downloads.. ?

are their any, sort of 'all inculsive codecs'- because when I type in codecs on download.com all the options have suspicously low amounts of hits/downloads... so i don't know where to look!.....??
