norton internet security soft2006 conflicts with printer sharing and outlook express
Hi everyone! i'm new in the group and despearate to solve a problem that i have for a long time now with norton internet security software 2006. To have a better protection for my PCs I have got NISS2006 but now the everything is very slow, i can't send or receive email in outlook express and I can't access to the printer from others pcs.... I'm very tired.
If you have an idea what to do or how to play with settings please feel free to express any sugestion. thansk!!! :hotouch:

Hello and welcome to Techspot.
My suggestion is that your get rid of that Symantec/Norton crapware altogether. Download the free AVG antivirus programme, and the free Zonealarm firewall from HERE and HERE Now disconnect from the net, and completely uninstall Norton. Install Zonealarm, followed by AVG, and reboot your computer. Reconnect to the net, and run the AVG updates. You will notice a speed increase to your system. Regards Howard
