dell 4600c heatsink
I hope that someone out there will come up with a solution to this problem.
The heatsink on the motherboard came loose as one of the hooks came out and is lost.Can it be repaired and appropiate parts found without buying a new motherboard? I thank you all for any help. |

if you have a dell warranty on the system you can call them and they should replace it with no problem..

That's easy to replace. You can either epoxy/adhesive the old one on or get a different HS that has clips or epoxy.
