Memory prices going down
Memory prices has during the last weeks been going down like a stone, what I paid almost 160$ for just some months ago now costs 80$. That was a 512MB stick of RAM, you can also get 256MB for ca 40$, if you ask Crucial that is mind you that was PC2700 DDR prices, 2100 is even cheaper should you go that route, seems getting 1GB of memory and a Nforce2 mobo now would be a pretty good choice...

I just ordered 256 meg of PC2100 Crucial ram from Newegg for a system I'm building and it was $35 =)
Also ordered me one of those NF2 boards for me. Now is the time to upgrade IMO. |

The OCZ PC3500 ram that I got about a month ago was £180.
Its now down to £150 (€219). So prices are definitely coming down. |
