RAID chip price war with Intel’s new ICH5R
"Intel are to strengthen their position in the RAID chip market with the introduction of the RAID-enabled ICH5R south bridge chip. VIA and SiS look set to join them offering competition to the traditional leaders, Promise Technology, Silicon Image and HighPoint Technologies."
