Major Issues, pc slowed to crawl. Baffled.
Not sure whats going on. Last night I gave my pc a quick clean out with an air duster after which it was running fine last night.

Today its behaving strangely, I noticed things which loaded up super fast before are now struggling and taking ages, if i load any of my games not only do they take an age to cache etc, but they are 2-5 fps slideshows.

Thought it may have been a bit of dust lodged in a port, removed RAM sticks and GFX card air dusted and replaced. Switched the ram sticks in the process. Now that knocked out my sound for some reason.

What to do?

One other thing ive noticed is task manager showing explorer.exe using 95-99 CPU while idle. At the same time 'system idle proccess' is at 0.

Fixed.

Deleted C:\WINDOWS\temp\a.exe

I always think its a bloody hardware issue lol. The glass is half empty kinda guy I guess.
