i am thinking about this cooling system

what do you all think of it? i was thinking of building my own, but i really wanted a nice, clean looking front lcd drive. if i buy this could i change out the cpu block or gpu block in the future? also what kind of liquid would it use, can you switch them out? thanks to all

That is a seriously cheap cooling system. You should be a bit wary of something as cheap as that. I also have a cheap water cooler as it only cools my processor, the big problem mine has ( and i expect the same with the one you are looking at) is that upgrading it is almost impossible. Mine for example is noisy and the pump is sealed within the reservoir and the pump is really mounted upside down to what would make good sense.

As for using different cpu and gpu blocks, as long as any replacements use the same diameter piping or have adapters then they should be ok, but, the pump may not be powerful enough for them.

You should always use distilled water in a water system plus an additive that is anti algae and anti foaming.

well would you reccomend making one from scrap?this one had really good reveiws on newegg and and their were no reports of leakage or anything. the main thing that i liked about this one was the price. its very hard to beat that. what parts would you reccomend for a self made one...my budget is only 130 max..thanks

There is some interesting reading in both. This setup looks to be what you might expect in it's price range. The pump seems to be the weak spot here, so changing to different waterblocks would most likely be a bad idea. These setups are optimized to run with the parts included...My advice, and I try to encourage people to liquid cool, would be to take a bit more time, and save somemore $, and get a better performing kit...

i think your right on the more$..i have the money but i was gonna put it toward new psu, but i guess i will put more into this..so lets say 200$ is my max, what systems would you reccomend for that? i dont want to cut up my case at all, and i want all internal..my case is this..http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811144077

i did read the 2 links you sent me and i explored the other water coolers..put im just so confused on whats what... all i want out of it is to be internal, not to cut up my case or remod, and to have a vga and cpu cooling waterblock...thanks alot for all help.
