Toshiba Satellite M55SP325 not starting

I bought this brand new laptop about 3 months ago and one morning when i tried turning it on, after exactly 2 seconds it turned off. No chance for anything else. I checked the battery. It;s been charging since i bought it, and i have no idea what might be wrong with. if anyone has any ideas about this i would truly appreaciate it.
 
batteries can die at any time. Try swapping the battery with a known good one. Sometimes computers sit in warehouses for a long time.
