what s a tv-card, can it play high performance applications, and is it better than a graphics card? how?

A tv card is a pci card that allows you to watch television on your pc. As well as capture video etc.

If you do a Google search for tv cards, you`ll see what I mean.

A tv card has nothing to do with a graphics card.

You need a graphics card to be able to see anything on your monitor.
