justin do you mean directx8 i am not sure why the games i having you use a 3d modeling tool..Direct3D 8 for buiding powerful 3D application is what this would be used for mate.. i think you need directX9.0c to be honest..i could be wrong though.. what version of windows are you using first off

k find the my computer icon and right click it with the mouse then left click the properties option...that will tell you what windows you are using.
