Hello, I have an agp board right now. I want to move to pci-x. I also have a nice 20 pin psu. Almost all the pci-x mobos I have found are 24pin. ARe there and adapters or something out there I could use?

Yes there are.
If you Google for 20 to 24 pin psu adapters, you should find plenty. Typically, they only cost a few dollars.

26 amps on the 12 volt and 550 watt should be fine
