Choppy mouse
Hi,
I recently reinstaller Windows XP pro on a P4 3.0 Prescott... Since this, i am stuck with a permanent problem where the mouse is very choppy. It is like if every disk I/O was interrupting any other active process on the computer, then, a few seconds later, it is back to normal operation... Can't figure out the bug. I carefully checked for Spyware or viruses but the computer is clean... I am considering to reformat and to reinstall... Also, in my system harware, it reports 2 processors but i have only one installed. How can i get rid of this ??? Many thanks, Bernard |
