Tt Volcano 7
yeah yeha, i know its a PoS, lol, and i've got a zalman 6000cu or whatever the hell they're called on order and should be here monday. but i want to know if theres a way to force this bloody fan to push the 5000rpms it says it can. it has a heat sensor that hangs off the fan and runs the fan off teh case temp which is stupid. is there anyway to manually set this fan to spin as fast as it can, cause its only getting like 3000rpms right now.

Volcano 7 was quite a good HSF in its day. If you want to manually control the fan, or make it run at top speed all the time, just bypass the sensor, but if you are getting a new one in a few days, I don't see it being worth the effort.
