Toshiba P25 no dial sound modem
Hi all:
I have a Toshiba sattellite P-25 and the modem does not make sound when dialing. Once stop the dial sound it sound only one more time but them it stops again up to now. I have read that this is a common problem to Toshiba modems, but not yet found a solution to solve it. Your input is welcome in tying to solve this problem. Thanks for the help. Victor |

If your modem still works fine, I wouldn't be too concerned with the sound but in Windows XP you should be able to increase the modem sound within a small range. I've done it myself. Go the Control Panel and look for the modem icon. I'm not at the machine that has a modem at the moment so I can't be more specific.
Edit: Find the Phone and Modem options in Control Panel, open it. Click on the Modem tab, then click Properties. Click on another Modem tab to adjust modem speaker volume. Last edited by mailpup; 05-25-2006 at 07:09 AM.. |
