Best card for my system?

I've had my computer for about 4 years and it came with a mid to low end video card (at the time). It's a Nvidia GeForce2 MX400.

I was wondering which card I can get that would maximize the performance of my system.

Here are my specs:
P4 1.8GHz
768MB RAM (one 512, two 128)
AGP 4x 2.0

I know the CPU can be a bottleneck, so which card would be optimal for that setup?

According to SiSoftware Sandra (a sys info program) my motherboard is an Intel Model D845PT. My computer is the Gateway 500C model.

And I don't expect a sutable card to be over $150. Any card more than that would probably be overkill for the system.

hello

I tried to play Hitman II but i had a problem with my video card.
I have GeForce 4 Ti 4200.

Vertex Shader Ver.: Required - 2.0 , I have - 1.1
Pixel Shader Ver.: Required - 2.0 , I have - 1.3

Do you know if i can do something about this, or I have to buy a new card

You need a DrectX 9 card.
