I have one fan on the upper half of my case in the back about an inch down from the power supply, now my question is: should this be intake or outtake? The powersupply is outtake and I was wondering if I needed some sort of intake, but I was worried becasue the fans are near each other and I thought having the one fan be in take with the powersupply being outtake would essentially cause them to cancel each other out. What do I do?

Rear fans are normally exhaust(out-take).

Whereas side and front fans are usually intakes.

out-take. Hot air rises. It will be more effective that way.

it should be exhaust, for two reasons... 1. like tedster pointed out heat rises, and 2. since it's so close to the PSU fan(s) it would partly recirculate the hot air exhausted by the PSU which may make your PSU run hotter.
