ummm a ? c d where is drive B?

ok my friend noticed there is no drive b. recently i was looking in my bios and i found something about drive B. so what is a drive B and what is it used for?

Drive B is for a floppy drive if you have one.....

Fastco is quite correct.

Letters A and B are reserved for floppy drives.

If you had two floppy drives, one would have the drive letter "A", while the other would be assigned the drive letter "B".

ok i was hoping it was some secret drive that had some odd disc or somethin.

Back in the old days, they had something called a 5 1/2 floppy drive. The disks were very flat, and floppy, hence the name. These floppy drives were very large, and they could not hold much information. They took it out, and they just left the letter there.
