K8n sli series, does sli funktion properly?

Im having trouble with sli (7800gt), I cant get it to work better than if I test with only one 7800gt, Ive updated everything, winxp, directx, mobo, bios, sound.

pc spec:
amd 64 3800+
k8n sli (MS-7185)

What exactly do you mean by it doesn't work any better? How have you tested it? What have you used as a comparison?

sorry about my broken english, I mean that when I have a single 7800 gt in my computer, I get standard FPS in games, BUT when I install x2 7800 gt and actived SLI, I get a HUGE FPS drop.
