New hdd not in my computer

Hey guys

i got a new hardevie for some extra junk and vista beta

i install it into the comp bios sees it

i got int device manager and saftly remove programs and they both see it, but my problem is my computer cannot see it or didnt give it a name (letter)

whats up here???

accually vista dosnt like this drive becuse it is dinamic

what does this mean how to i make it a baseic partiton

Are you doing the windows 98 operation for formatting? Use your windows XP CD to correctly formatt it.

just go to disk manager and make it basic
