blue screen of death, please help!

I just ordered 1 GB of RAM for my Inspiron, and i decided to format my hard drive, which i also had to replace, to start anew w/ the new upgrade. It seems that every single time i close the lid of my computer to go into standby, and then when i bring it out of it later, i get this blue screen w/ a message. It says that there was a physical memory dump. And this is the code that comes with it: Stop: 0x000008E (0x0000005, 0x805677C4, 0xF7CB4024, 0x00000000). Now this one went away, and i'm getting this new message: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

***Stop: 0x000000D1 (0x00003E62, 0x000000FF, 0x00000001, 0xE1464001)
Can anyone help me out?

It may be you have a problem with your new ram.

A stop message of D1 means the following.

0x000000D1: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

The system attempted to access pageable memory using a kernel process IRQL that was too high. The most typical cause is a bad device driver (one that uses improper addresses). It can also be caused by caused by faulty or mismatched RAM, or a damaged pagefile.

Go HERE and follow the instructions for testing your ram etc.
