failing to install bf2 as i am old and hopless

when i attempt to install bf2, straight away it comes up with "this application has requested the routine to terminate in an unusal way"
what on earth does this mean any help please

What are your system specs? what are the minimum specs of the game, what stage of installation does this message appear?

it appears as soon as i attempt to run it,
how do i find out the spec of my machine i really dont know???

i can see i have alot to learn

That program will give you a complete list of all your system specs. Post them here when you've got them.
