Event ID (1003) Error need help analyzing minidump
I recently format my custom built pc with windows xp pro service pack 2 and have been experiencing random errors/restarts that give me the BSOD. The BSOD do not correspond to any games or videos that I am using they usually occur while web surfing. I have been unable to find a solution to this problem. Any help would be appreciated.
I tried to look at my minidumps but wasn't able to open/make any sense out of them. I attached the 4 of them that were in \windows\minidump Event Type: Error Event Source: System Error Event Category: (102) Event ID: 1003 Date: 7/10/2006 Time: 11:01:29 PM User: N/A Computer: RAVEN64 Description: Error code 1000000a, parameter1 b90c24a4, parameter2 00000002, parameter3 00000000, parameter4 805134cb. Your crashes are caused by various bugchecks, including memory corruption, bad pool caller and one crash by "afd.sys", which is part of Windows Winsock driver. First follow the instructions in this post: http://www.techspot.com/vb/topic51365.html, and post back here.

one crash caused by pool corruption, one by "afd.sys", one by memory corruption, and one by "ntkrnlpa.exe."
The Winsock Fixer is available here:http://www.snapfiles.com/get/winsockxpfix.html. Did you try running your pc with only one stick of ram, and did any of the crashes happen while running Half Life 2 and Avant Browser?? |

I thought I had the problem solved and I didn't get any reboots for 5 days or so and then tonight I got another one with the same error. Yes the reboots have occured while running avant browser and Half Life 2 (counterstrike). What is the significance of that?
