Heat.. Wont go away !!!!!
I have heat probs.. I just replaced PSU, motherboard, graphics card, CPU, and memory.. My PC still runs idle at 60c... What the heck is going on.. I just spent double the cost of a name brand for this one I built.. I never had heat issues till I have a lightning storm.. Pc used to run at 45c max.. PLZ someone help!!!!!

this is just a humorous suggestion but it really worx.
http://www.techspot.com/gallery/show...cat/501/page/3 if u really want a cooler pc find a good water cooling system. idk which one is good but i here they really work good. it is possible the temp sensor is fried too. |

You did put some compound between the CPU and HeatSink?

What cooler do you have on the processor? You don't need water cooling, any good heatsink/fan combo should be able to cool you around 45C. Make sure there is good case airflow too, and that the room your PC is in isn't ridiculously hot either. Remember that air cooling can't cool any lower than the ambient temperature, and though your room is most definitely not 60C, a hot room doesn't help by any means.
