Why not do it the usual way, try phoning your local government for more details as laws vary from one state to another in the US??

I think I've never mentioned it but TechSpot is a registered trademark, how do you like that? .

Now I will have to assume that although all trademarks are treated the same worldwide, the process to go through it is different in each country, in my case I was helped by a lawyer friend of mine, just paid a fee and he arranged all the paperwork.

I'll have to make a friend out of a lawyer. Maybe I can find a good looking girl lawyer

Not really, just own the domains with that name.
