Windows Installer 3.1
i think there is something wrong with my windows installer because when i try to add/remove a program, a window comes up and says the windows installer service could not be accessed . it can occur if you are running windows in safe mode,or if the windows installer is not correctly installed.

Simple solution :Re-register registration service.
Start/Run/type CMD.EXE/OK Type msiexec /unregister and press Enter. Type msiexec /regserver and press Enter. More complex soulution : Reinstall the Windows Installer Rename damaged files,and download latest Windows installer (3.1) See HERE for Microsoft`s detailed,but confusing explanation. |
