Did it work properly?

If so, I'm glad for you

yeah, it seemed to work great...didn't have the heating problem that I thought I might have.. but still can't figure out why my computer keeps crashing after 10 or so minutes..

-tried blowing and resetting everything
-used extra air circulation
-i think RAM is good

- i can't seem to figure out what the heatsink looks like though, it doesn't seem to fit any pics i've seen?

-i think i'm going to go ahead and swap out the power supply because i know of no way to check it out otherwise

You could try to see if the fan is working by having the PC on with the cover off but dont go touching stuff just look.

A heatsink fan may look like this.
