SimCity 4 terminates unexpectedly
Sometimes when I play SimCity 4, it just terminates. However, I have a Sempron in my computer, when you're supposed to have an Athlon. So I'm wondering, is the problem because of the processor, or is there some other issue? (system specs in my signature). As for more explanation of the problem, it seems to be caused by something as simple as zooming out or moving. Please help. Any help appreciated.

it could be that the file that was installed that is used to terminate the zoom etc could have become corrupt during the install. There could also be a problem with the ram

Sorry Tedster, I saw the misc software forum and thought this was for any kind of software other than security or whatever. I will take care from now on. Also, thanks for your help, rev_olie. I might put another 512MB stick of RAM in this computer; if it happens more often, I might reinstall the game.
