Problems viewing video in WMP 10
Hi,
This is a new powerful system running XP home. -- just two weeks old. WMP 10 will not play mpgs; it will play but there is no video. It seems like a codec problem; however, I reinstalled Intervideo Win DVD to reinstall the codecs: didn't do anything. The files will play in WMP Classic and Real Player. Before I do the System recovery I would like to try to find an answer. Wehen I run Codec detective the scan reports that 7 codecs are broken: 1 aydio and 6 video. Since the operation is basic, an answer must be somewhere. Any thoughts? carpenter |

Use a different player? WMP seems to be riddled with errors and bugs - won't even output to my TV-out because of MS copyright infringement!
