CPU Fan Speed Software
How can I find out if my motherboard supports CPU fan speed control through software? I installed SpeedFan to try and modify my fan speed but it doesn't seem to be working right. My motherboard is a FIC K7M-NF18G nForce2 IGP. Any help would be appreciated.

Speedfan works, but you just have to dink around with it quite a bit. Try Motherboard Monitor, if your mobo is supported, a lot of times it'll set itself up for you. Sometimes you have to go in and manually set the sensors, but once you get it, it seems to remember, even after a reformat and reinstall.
