mouse and keyboard not responding

when windows starts the mouse and keyboard dont work. if i unplug the mouse and plug it back in then it will work but it wont work for the keyboard.
 
Its impossible to help you with so little information!!!

We need to know what version of windows you are using?
What type of keyboard and mouse (ps2 or usb)?
What your pc is?
For example, is it a pc or a laptop?
