Basically I need to know which is better and for what reason. I will not overclock my cpu or anything and will not raid or use 2 graphics cards. What is the difference between 965 and 975 chipset?

The 975 is almost twice as expensive, is this worth it? My system specs are as follows:
e6300 core 2 duo
1gb ddr2 800Mhz ram
250gb SATA hdd
dual dvd burner
antec sonata 2 case with 450 smartpower psu

Also, just to add: I dont understand why the 975 is more expensive, looking at all the specs, just about all the specs are better on the 965...
