I have let my daughter use my machine while I put her together one as sims just wont work on the laptop even after much posting helo etc.

Anyway I have copied the user data files but the game just starts as a new game. Any ideas the files are about 128mb.

the user data files have a number usually, i mean userdata1 userdata2 etc

so when the map shows up you might just try to change the number of the map until you see her stuff
