Passive cooler or Fan

I just want to buy some cooling stuff for my pc and i was thi king wot is the best passive cooler or fans.i know that for the CPU u need both but what abou the chipset of the motherboard.can somebody tell which cooling parts are better and for which parts of my pc

The newer chipsets run so hot they have to have active cooling or elaberate heatpipes. Companies like Arctic Cooling and Zalman make fans for almost any application that are very quiet.

I was under the impression that the newer technology runs cooler?

And yes, Zalman will provide you with a great cooling solution.

The newer processors are alot cooler but chipsets and video card cores have gotten hotter, especially chipsets.
