ghosting

Can someone please tell me if it is possible to reliably ghost from an ATA HD to a SATA HD or vice versa. I have asked several people in computer related fields and noone can give me a definitive answer. Thank you for any help.

You can clone any kind of (modern) hard drive to any other (modern) kind of hard drive. IDE to SATA to SCSI to SAS to flash, whatever. A disk is just an array of data blocks, it has nothing to do with the interface.

I suppose technically its possible although it may be unreliable.
