HELP PLEASE!!! No boot sector on hard disk

Hi all

This is my first post here and I just want to say hi before I get stuck into my problem of I cant boot my laptop. Please please can some one help me?

Does it give any error messages when it fails to boot ? also could you post what your specs of the laptop are plus the operating system that your using.
