Does anyone have any suggestions of the best combination of spyware, adware, and virus detection and delection out there? I have ad-aware, spybot s&d, hijackthis, and AVG free edition. What other programs could I add to my arsenal that are compatible with these?

The only additions I`d recommend you get are, Spyware Blaster, Ewido and a software firewall if you don`t already have firewall protection.

Okay thanks howard. Also, before I install ewido, is it going to be compatible with AVG? Because I know some antivirus programs fail if there's more than one on your pc.

Ewido isn`t an antivirus programme, it`s an anti trojan programme so you shouldn`t have any problems.

When you install Ewido, do the following.

Download and install Ewido [url]http://www.ewido.net/en/download/[/url]
Double-click the Ewido icon on your desktop to run it.
On the top of the main screen click Shield. [b]Click the word active to change it to inactive.[/b]
On the top of the main screen click 'Update'. Then click on 'Start update'. The update will start and a progress bar will show the updates being installed.
If you are having problems with the updater, you can get the manual update at [url]http://download.ewido.net/ewido-sign...ll-current.exe[/url]
When you have finished updating, exit Ewido.

Run Ewido when ever your ready.
