Does anyone have any suggestions of the best combination of spyware, adware, and virus detection and delection out there? I have ad-aware, spybot s&d, hijackthis, and AVG free edition. What other programs could I add to my arsenal that are compatible with these?

The only additions I`d recommend you get are, Spyware Blaster, Ewido and a software firewall if you don`t already have firewall protection.

Okay thanks howard. Also, before I install ewido, is it going to be compatible with AVG? Because I know some antivirus programs fail if there's more than one on your pc.

Ewido isn`t an antivirus programme, it`s an anti trojan programme so you shouldn`t have any problems.

When you install Ewido, do the following.

Download and install Ewido http://www.ewido.net/en/download/
Double-click the Ewido icon on your desktop to run it.
On the top of the main screen click Shield. Click the word active to change it to inactive.
On the top of the main screen click 'Update'. Then click on 'Start update'. The update will start and a progress bar will show the updates being installed.
If you are having problems with the updater, you can get the manual update at http://download.ewido.net/ewido-sign...ll-current.exe
When you have finished updating, exit Ewido.

Run Ewido when ever your ready.
