Return to Castle Wolfstein Performance problems

I have a PIV 2.4 ghz with G4MX440 8X and 512 DDR ram.
I´m experienced the same problem in 3 games, RTCW, ONI and MOHAA.
When i start the game the game seems to be in slow-motion, with very poor performance, it´s just impossible to move the mouse over the options.
Please , someone help me, what is wrong?

PS: i´m using windows ME and Directx 9

I don't have that game but try running different video modes. In end case scenario, get a new vid card, yours suitable but not ideal for your gaming.

exactly

you don't have the juice in your current card to power these games.

defintely check the video settings you may be trying to play the games at to high a resolution. with that card I would not try going beyond 1024X768 and dont set the graphics to max.

another possibility is the DX9 may be causing the problem.
