I would appreciate your views on registry mechanic and xp repair pro ...
i have used reg mechanic for quite some time. now i am looking for a programme that may be better. that's if there is?

I use Registry Mechanic. I like it and have never had any issues with it

used Registry Mechanic for 4 years no problems with it and it keeps the computer clean!

I use Uniblue Registry Booster and seems to work well along with a weekly Ultra WinClean , Diskeeper 8.0 defrag running in the background, and a plethora of spyware scanners, my machine seems to run pretty smooth. It's all about cleanliness( I wish I could get that through the kids heads
Now if I could just find my mouse in this mess.

I liked Jv16 powertools before the author sold it and it stopped being freeware. but yu can still get it and there is a standnalone of the registrry cleaner repair function of it called Reg supreme pro. I use that now, it only cost around 12.95

why not use crap cleaner? It's free and does what those commercial programs do. Despite the name, it also has a registry repair function.
