Need something I can find today, and have only CompUSA, BestBuy,
Office Depot, and Circuit City within "reach".

Found one that sounded good on C City, but 2 out of 3 reviews say
it doesn't fit well and so didn't cool. (Who knows how well they
were installed.) It was a Mad Dog Copper Plate Cooler. Flows
~30+ cfm, is an 80mm fan, turns 2500.

Mine that just went bad is only a 63mm fan, turned a tad over 5000,
don't know the cfm, kept the cpu under moderate use in the mid
80F to mid 90F range in a low to mid 70F case ambient.

C USA has an Antec (I've got 2 Antec Smart Fans on the case and
they're doing splendidly) but says it's not "rated" for that high of
a speed processor, and only for P3's and AMD's - up to "XP 3200"
whatever that means, but is the right size so that I could just replace
the fan without messing with replacing the heat sink.
Couldn't find the cfm or rpms.

Want one with a 3 wire hookup so I can hook to the board so it'll
monitor rpms etc.

Vantec Tornados are great if you can find them. An 80mm Tornado spins at something like 6000RPM and moves 89CFM. A 92mm Torando moves somewhere in the 110CFM + range.

Just look for any fan that you can find in those stores..there isn't an exact product I can recommend. But I can tell you a few things that you should look for.
You'll have to trust the specs listed in their packaging. Make sure it's a ball-bearing fan. Look for something under 30dB for low-moderate noise. Look for a 3-pin mobo connector since you want to monitor RPM. Look for something about 30-40 CFM, which is an ok range for a 80mm fan.
