SiS jump on the DDR400 bandwagon with the SiS648/963 chipset

Quote:
From www.sis.com/press/cebit2002.htm :
Taipei, March 13, 2002 - Silicon Integrated Systems Corp. (SiS), a leading core logic and graphics chip supplier, announced today its debut as an exhibitor at CeBIT 2002 where it is displaying SiS648/963 and SiS330. The former represents a Pentium 4 platform solution with leading DDR400 memory support while SiS330, the 3D graphics chip which supports AGP8X, demonstrate the new generation of graphic display technology.
DDR400 must be going mainstream from the major memory manufacturers if both Via and SiS are debuting chipsets at CeBIT2002 that support DDR400. Also with AGP8X support I have to wonder why Nvidia didn't jump all over AGP8X when they released the GF4....
