Double Sided RAM

Dear all,

My motherboard doesnt support for dual channel and currently running with 1x512mb DDR PC2100 (single sided)

The question is, can I mix the current ram with 1x1gb DDR PC3200 (double sided)?

First try looking through the manual, otherwise post mobo model name, vendor etc .

I lost the manual. But the mobo model is compaq.
