I need a motherboard & PSU for a t1840 eMachine

Any help on replacing my motherboard & psu would be greatly appreciated. I read a few threads on here about checking out newegg.com but, I don't know what to get. Here's the specifications on my computer.....please help!

CPU: Intel Celeron Processor 1.80GHz (w/128KB L2 cache & 400 MHz FSB)
Chipset: Intel 845GL Chipset

Any suggestions on the kind of motherboard I need? Thank you so much ahead TechSpot Members!!!!!

Are you sure you need both a MB and PSU? I had a PSU go on my eMachine T3985. Bought a PSU tester and found it was bad.
PSU Tester from newegg.com:
COOLMAX PS-224 LCD Power Supply Tester $24

Next I bought the following PSU. It also fits in your Micro ATX case:
FSP Group (Fortron Source) ATX350-PA, 350W Power Supply $30

Once I installed the PSU, everything started working perfectly. If you do need a new MB, you also have to buy a new Operating System (Win XP). Your emachine OS will not work with a new MB.

does the computer work? if so, adding a new motherboard and PSU would do little for the system, namely because of the processor.

dont bother

if the mobo is faulty youll be forced to reinstall the OS which will be hard because of the propeirtership
