Hello and welcome to Techspot.

Run HJT with no other programmes open. Click the scan button. Have HJT fix the following, by placing a tick in the little box next to(if there).

O9 - Extra button: Messenger - {FB5F1910-F110-11d2-BB9E-00C04F795683} - C:\Program Files\Messenger\msmsgs.exe (file missing)

O9 - Extra 'Tools' menuitem: Windows Messenger - {FB5F1910-F110-11d2-BB9E-00C04F795683} - C:\Program Files\Messenger\msmsgs.exe (file missing)

Click on the fix checked button.

Close HJT and reboot your system. Other than the above insactive entries, your HJT log is clean.

If you have any further virus/spyware problems, please post in this thread.

Regards Howard

HERE is some info on O23 - Service: ##Id_String1.6844F930_1628_4223_B5CC_5BB94B879762## (Bonjour Service) - Unknown owner - C:\Program Files\Bonjour\mDNSResponder.exe (file missing)

As you can see, it`s perfectly safe. Is there a particular reason why you`re trying to get rid of it?

Regards Howard

Ok, let`s disable it then.

Click start/run and type services.msc into the run box and press the enter key.

When the window appears, maximise it. Double click on the following services(if there) and select stop if they are running. Set the startup type to disabled. Click apply/ok for each service you disable.

##Id_String1.6844F930_1628_4223_B5CC_5BB94B879762## (Bonjour Service)<disable either the service name, or the name in brackets, if there.

Close the services window.

Reboot your system and check to see if it`s gone.
