USB cd rom driver!!??

I am trying to do a system restore with factory disks.

the laptop is fujitsu b2630 and has no internal floppy or CD rom.

I started with the boot disk I was given by fujitsu and that was fine but then it said it needed 'OEMcd001' .

after some googling I realize that there doesn't seem to be support for USB cd rom....what do I do?????????

please advise

Hi

How did you use a bootdisk if there is no floppy ?

There are drivers for a USB CD rom, we use them at work however the bootdisk you used may not look to a USB CD Rom , I did a quick google on the model and I think it uses a PCMCIA CDrom , it may be looking for this, shame on Fijitsu for making a mistake such as this, loading the restore on the HD like Dell do is a better idea.

Maybe contact Fujitsu support.

Regards
