Playing NSV video files
Hello!
Does anyone has an idea how to play NSV video files? I have tried winamp and mplayer but the files were of "unknown format". Does anyone know any plug-ins or codecs that can solve this problem? Cheers |

[B]Hello and welcome to Techspot.[/B]
Apparently the [URL="http://www.videolan.org/vlc/"]VLC media player[/URL] can play the .NSV files. Regards Howard ![]() |

Are you sure your version of Winamp supports it? The lite version is fairly crippled (and will not play back video) compared to the other free version (full). NSV stands for nullsoft video, which should be handled by winamp (nullsoft) without problems.
Here is their supported file types, NSV is included. Code:
Supported File Types: AAC it mod nst stm AIF itz MP1 NSV stz AIFF KAR MP2 OGG ult amf M2V MP3 okt VLB APL m3u mp3 pls VOC ASF M4A MP4 ptm WAV AU mdz MPEG RMI WMA AVI MID MPG s3m WMV CDA MIDI mtm s3z xm far MIZ NSA SND xmz 669 |
