Hi, just need a bit of advice about the compatability of the new hard drive I am planning to buy.
I currently have a Gigabyte GA-7N400 Pro Motherboard which supports 2 x SATA connections and UDMA of 150mb/s. The hard drive I currently have installed is a Maxtor DiamondMax + 10 160GB S150 (which has now been discontinued).
The hard drive I intend to buy is a Maxtor DiamondMax10 200GB S300, will this new hard drive operate at 150mb/s rather that the 300mb/s? also can anyone see any other issues i may have with this new drive running it along side my existing hard drive?
