Problem With NetGear RP614 router
Im not able to connect to the internet usin the rounter, when i try to re install everything the network seems and the rounter are able to detect the type of connection im currently using but when it come to testing the internet with the seeting i have apply it doesnt seems to work
ive tried many ways but it doesnt seems to connect to the internet, the only way i can connect to the internet right now is to connect directly to the modem plz help T_T |

Hi,
Try switching the cable modem off for about 4mins so that it forgets any previous settings, switching back on it should connect no problem. Regards, Ellgor. |

when you're connected to the router and you're connect to the modem:
click on start click on run type: cmd type: route print (doing this will show you if you're getting DHCP IP adress or your getting Private IP address, like 169.xxx..xxxx If you see that you got a problem That can be fixed. The best way to do it is to uninstall the NIC card from the Pc you're trying to connect to the internet The let Windows try to detect the card again. |
