Intel C2D Fan speed
I'm running an Intel DP965LT with an Intel C2D E6600, with stock heatsink. I'm not going to buy a different heatsink just yet, but I have some questions.
The stock HSF only runs at around 850-900 RPM, and in the Intel BIOS, I have the fan speed settings both to high or agressive. You cannot disable BIOS fan control for max RPM. How would I go about increasing this speed. I want my C2D to idle at around 35 C , right now it's around 42 C. I may buy a hardware controller if all else fails, but is there some type of software that will do it? Speedfan doesn't work on this board. |
