Linux not detecting keyboard and mouse.

Hi,

Last week, I added a USB card and 25MB memory. I had Win98, Win2000 and Linux 9. I also re-installed Windows XP. In that process, it wiped old MBR. I did Linux rescue using Linux CD. Now, I am getting GRUB and can choose Linux etc. But at Linux logic prompt, both keyboard and mouse doesn't work. So, I'm unable to login. Any suggestions? Win98 and WinXP doesn't have any such problems.

Thanks,
Vikas

WTH is "Linux 9"?

Did you have a PS/2 keyboard before and you switched to USB now?

I enabled BIOS option ~"Enable USB keyboard" and then keyboard started working. I initially had PS/2 mouse. In between, I'd replaced it with serial one. I again did a Linux restore and in that process, it asked about absence of PS/2 mouse. When I deleted that configuration, it automatically configured serial one and so mouse also started working. So, both are working now. Thanks for the help..
